Red Eye Symptoms

The statistics don't lie. The word is under a pandemic as more than 22 million people have gotten the COVID-19. There is even a possibility it is more than that as some people may have gotten it but they were not aware since they are asymptomatic. In the United States alone, the death toll is rising by more than a thousand deaths each day. They are blaming their president for not being able to handle the crisis properly and they are right but the same holds true for Brazil. It is like a medal tally for the virus. It is safe to say this pandemic is not going to end anytime soon.

A lot of people have lost their jobs due to their countries shutting down. It is indeed a sad time for the entire world. Travel is also halted so that means a lot of flight personnel, tour guides, and travel agencies have lost their jobs. There are some people who have yet to take the virus seriously and they are suffering because of it. It is hard to believe that you would not take this seriously after so many people have already contacted the virus.

Find Out the Symptoms

Eye Doctor

There are many COVID-19 symptoms such as cough, colds, and fever. If you are suffering from any of those things, better go in quarantine immediately. There is no doubt you would be doing the other people around you a favor since the virus can easily spread.

It has led to a lot of people getting paranoid when they get other types of symptoms. Some people got red eyes and they think they may have the virus. Thankfully, it is not a COVID-19 symptom as it could be a sign that you may have conjunctivitis. Better go see an eye doctor so that it won't become something worse.

When you decide to see a doctor, better do it online. Yes, it is time we get used to the new normal nowadays. You can show the doctor the red eyes symptoms that you are experiencing anyways. After that, the doctor will tell you what you need to do through the video call. It won't be long before you will feel confident about getting rid of it. Of course, it is going to take a lot of effort on your part and you will also know the reason for red eyes. One reason could be red swollen itchy eyes but only the doctor can confirm what exactly happened to your eyes. Better avoid scratching it though.

Practice Social Distancing

 Social Distance

The World Health Organization has banned group gatherings. That means you are not allowed to see your group of friends for drinks or catching up. There is always the option of doing it online since you never know who has the virus. It is a lot safer that way. There is a reason why establishments have put social distancing markings outside of their places. For example, drugstores can only accommodate a few people and people who come in are assigned seats and they can come forward when it is time for them to do so.

Another example of social distancing can be seen at restaurants. Diners would not be allowed to sit beside each other. They would just need to sit in a diagonal position which would still make it easy to have a conversation. There are no more public events nowadays. The only thing that is happening is group video chats. Those who wanted to have a big wedding are forced to postpone it. Now. it will only happen through a simple event which would be good for the celebrants financially.

Avoid Going Out

Stay Home

The World Health Organization is strongly advising against going out of the house. It would be better to not do it unless it is essential like food, water, and work purposes. If it is just for playing games, then it would be better to do that at the comfort of your home. You will be safer from the virus if you stay right at home. It is sad how this pandemic had to happen as the world's economy continues to plummet. If you must go out, don't forget to wear a face mask and a face shield. This would minimize the chances of getting the virus.
